Hull Cleaning

Atlantida Cleaning and Repair in Water have designed and use their own hydraulic hull cleaning and propeller polishing machine. Useing a traction system our machines will clean approx 1000M2 per hour. We use different cleaning brushes depending on the hull paint and coating as also the organic material adhered to the structure leaving no damage to the vessels' paintwork. Our machines also supply class-approved equipment that is optimized to match the prevailing underwater conditions by using CCTV and high resolution cameras that are sensitive to low light levels. live video cameras/CCTV to give live repair/survey updates during the hull cleaning process.

 In all hull cleaning works we supply photo reports before and after the completed works.

Clean hulls and propellers represent huge fuel cost savings for the vessels owners / operators. This service is not only available in Spain but to North Africa as well. It is no secret that marine growth left on a vessel's hull can increase fuel costs by up to 15%. It is equally important that whilst removing growth, care must be taken so as not to damage the antifouling paintwork. Coupled with our divers' experience and the very latest in high speed hydraulic motorized hull cleaning machines  we are able to safely clean the hull without causing any damage to the vessels' paintwork. The machine is equipped with rotating brushes, which are fully adjustable for correct brush pressure to the ships hull.
